Sustainability is a big part of our focus at Beach Bum Foods.

Our Ingredients-  We source from local family farms and vendors whenever possible.  The majority of our ingredients are grown or made in the USA with the exception of our tahini, which is made in Israel. 

Sustainable Lentils- Our lentils are grown on the West Coast and are Food Alliance Certified and verified by Non-GMO project.  Our growers are committed to sustainable agriculture and biodiversity.  nongmoproject.org and http://foodalliance.org/

Organic Avocados- Our avocados are grown in California!

Organic Lemon Juice Concentrate-  the lemons are grown in orchards in Central California and juiced by a family run business.

Organic Roasted Garlic- the garlic is grown in the Central Valley of California.

Organically Grown Malibu Basil- our basil is grown on a local ranch in Malibu.  Ron Rickards is the owner of Rickards Ranch and grows beautiful organic herbs!

Minimize waste and maximize nutrition- Love, Laughter and Lentils is made for you using a special process that does not waste the cooking water and keeps all the good stuff in so your body can absorb all the lentil’s great nutrients – lots of protein and fiber!

Recycle- Our containers are made from #5 plastic so please don't contaminate the regular #1 plastic recycle stream.  Ask your local Whole Foods to become a Gimme5 Brigade to recycle #5 plastic.
